Brushed Nickel Single Hole Bathroom Faucet Modern Single Handle Vanity Basin Faucet

I used the faucet to replace an old delta that had a 3 hole cut out. The included base plate covered the spare holes well and the faucet itself is a bit taller than the one it's replacing. The drain portion is a simple push to open and close the drain in the basin. I personally didn't have to use any plumbers putty with the drain since it has a silicone gasket directly under the drain. You may need some plumbers putty if you don't get a good seal and some caulk to seal around the base plate of the faucet if your using it but other than that the package includes everything else you need to install the faucet.The installation is fairly straight forward and the directions are clear pictographs for the various steps. I'll include some bits that I guessed at during the assembly just to make it a bit more clear. When installing the 2 water supply lines(each has a color coded metal strip to tell them apart which is a nice touch) into the faucet I applied nylon tape to the threads of the lines. They have rubber gaskets on them but I wasn't entirely confident that they would seal perfectly so better safe than sorry. The directions were a bit difficult to interpret when putting the supply lines into the correct hole so just put the supply line for the hot water into the hole on the left side(red side if looking a the top of the faucet). The nut that attaches the faucet to the sink is long and easy to tighten until just hand tight and the included black plastic tool is the perfect length to allow a final tightening even when behind the sink bowl. The drain install was extremely simple, place the drain in the hole put the silicone washer in the correct direction put the metal washer on and tighten the nut until it's sealed.The faucet puts out much more water than my previous faucet so I haven't needed to turn it on full blast. The waterfall is very relaxing and quickly cleans hands, shaving implements and brushes. The brushed nickle looks nice and the faucet has a quality feel of weight to it. Clearly the packaging, which is partially unpacked in the picture, hold everything snugly in place. My box even had a slight indentation in the top of it but the parts were completely unaffected. Be aware that this style of faucet seems to hold on to some water where it comes out after being shut off. A finger touch will encourage it to flow out if this bothers you. Generally I'm pleased with this faucet and it is a significant upgrade from my old dripping one.
